SCPI (French REIT)

A Société Civile de Placement Immobilier (SCPI) is a company that invests in a real-estate portfolio. Its purpose is to invest in a real-estate portfolio intended for rental, and then to manage it. The rents collected by the SCPI are partly redistributed to investors in the form of rental income, in proportion to the number of shares they hold.
